Inspiration for me really comes from several different aspects: physical, emotional, and spiritual. I am inspired by people who despite their physical deprivation are capable of standing up against injustice by voicing their rights and "walking the walk." The main thing nowadays is the issue of "peace" everywhere in the world. When I attend international programs I am asked if my people are terrorists, as though all Muslims especially Pakistanis are terrorists. Really I’m very upset and disheartened now by hearing this from a lot of people and even very well educated people. We in Pakistan are peacekeepers. We believe in peace.

La fuite des intellectuels africains face à leurs responsabilités. C'est vrai, ils le disent d'ailleurs, ça ne va pas en Afrique. Mais, faut-il lâcher bride et croiser les bras? Assurément non!
